If
you specialize in a skill like I do (mine is copywriting,
what's yours?), then you probably
get a fair amount of queries on email with regard to your work. The replies
that you craft with such care and deliberation can and should be repurposed for
use on your blog.
1. Locate the email where you offered the good advice by
doing a "sort" by subjectline or recipient in your Sent Items folder.
2. Highlight the relevant section and pop it into a Word document.
3. Edit out the personal parts - remove all references to
the client or friend to whom you dispensed the advice. Delete any mentions of
company names or other proprietary information.
4. Tack on an intro. For instance, you might open with a question. "Having trouble getting your email newsletter campaign off the ground?"
5. Add the call-to-action. Without this, there's really no
purpose to all the effort you just put in. A simple and straightforward line
does the job: "Contact Dina@Wordfeeder.com for help managing your monthly email
newsletter campaign today."
There, that wasn't so difficult, was it?
Try it now! Take a few minutes today to try the
exercise above. Post it on your blog during 24 Blogging Days 'til Christmas from Wordfeeder.com Copywriting.

Dina,
This is excellent advice and one I do with great frequency. For instance as the Leader of HER Mastermind Network on RYZE I often participate in great conversations on a variety of topics. And sometimes I will re-read the post I created and say "hey, this ain't bad" and depending on the topic will then repost to one of my blogs doing just as you suggest.
Thanks for your excellent advice - I am so excited to be participating in the 24 days of blogging.

This was a great tip Dina. We don't offer a service, so we posted about recyling Christmas cards.
Looking forward to tomorrows post.
